Halaqah / Riyaddul Solihin

Everyday after Fajr

Halaqah linguistically means “circle” in Arabic. Often a halaqah, is a religious gathering- a study circle if you please. In these gatherings, people generally sit in a circle and it is said the angels also sit in circles surrounding the gathering until they reach our Creator to tell Him that His servants are remembering Him in a gathering.

Quran Arabic Lessons

Every Sunday, 2pm - 4pm
Open for Brothers and Sisters.

The Arabic used in the Quran, or the Islamic holy book, is called classical or Quranic Arabic. It is slightly different than the modern standard Arabic that is predominantly used in everyday life. The major difference is in some of the wording. Students can learn Quranic Arabic online and begin to get a whole new perspective of the language. Students interested in taking these Quranic or Islamic Arabic courses are encouraged to have a firm grasp of modern standard Arabic beforehand.

Sunday Tafseer/Seerah

Every Sunday, 7pm - 8pm
Open for Brothers and Sisters

Tafseer means explanation of Quran. The best way to explain any Quranic Verse is to support it first with various other related Quranic Verses. Thereafter, Hadith is used for strengthening such an explanation or tafseer. To find, collect and present the related Quranic Verses and Hadith are one of the greatest jobs that was achieved by Imam Ibn Kaseer.
